Advanced Regenerative Treatments:
Microneedling, Nanoneedling & Mesotherapy

Microneedling and Nanoneedling with Dermalogica Pro Pen are advanced skin rejuvenation treatments designed to improve texture, tone, hydration, and overall skin health.

Microneedling works deeper within the skin by creating tiny wounds and channels within the skin to stimulate collagen and elastin production, helping to soften fine lines, scarring, pigmentation, enlarged pores and uneven texture.

Nanoneedling is a gentler treatment focused on enhancing product absorption, boosting hydration, and creating a radiant, glowing complexion with no downtime. Hello glass skin!

Add-on Biostimulants with Micro and Nanoneedling are also available to advance your skin results.

Go one step further and add on Mesotherapy with NCTF Boost 135 HA
(New Cellular Treatment Factor), designed to enhance skin quality and promote natural regeneration. This can also be a stand alone treatment.

F.A.Q.

What device do you use for Microneedling and Nanoneedling?

We use the Dermalogica Pro Pen Microneedling and Nanoinfusion device — an FDA cleared Class II medical device designed exclusively for professional use. It uses sterile, single-use disposable needle cartridges for every treatment. A thorough skin assessment is always performed beforehand to determine the optimal needle depth for your skin condition and treatment goals.

What is Microneedling and what does it treat?

Microneedling is an advanced skin rejuvenation treatment that creates tiny controlled channels within the skin to stimulate your body's natural collagen and elastin production. It is effective for softening fine lines, scarring, pigmentation, enlarged pores, and uneven skin texture. The treatment triggers a natural healing cascade — inflammation, proliferation, and remodelling — to reveal smoother, healthier, and more radiant skin over time.

What side effects can I expect after Microneedling?

Microneedling is safe and effective when performed professionally. As your skin begins its natural repair process, some temporary effects are completely normal. You may experience redness, warmth, mild swelling, sensitivity, or tightness — similar to a light sunburn — for 24–72 hours after treatment. Some clients also notice slight dryness, flaking, pinpoint bleeding, or mild breakouts as the skin renews itself. These are short-lived and a sign the collagen-stimulating process is working. Following your aftercare advice will support healing and optimise your results.

What is Nanoneedling and how is it different from Microneedling?

Nanoneedling is a gentle, non-invasive treatment that uses microscopic silicone tips to create tiny channels in the skin's surface. Unlike Microneedling, it does not penetrate the deeper layers of the skin, making it a comfortable treatment with little to no downtime. It works by enhancing the absorption of active skincare ingredients and stimulating the skin's natural renewal process — improving hydration, texture, radiance, and fine lines for a smoother, brighter, glowing complexion. It's perfect for those wanting to refresh and revitalise their skin with a gentle yet effective treatment.

What is Dermalogica Pro Restore and why is it used after treatment?

Dermalogica Pro Restore is a professional skin recovery concentrate used after Microneedling, Nanoneedling, and other resurfacing treatments to support and accelerate healing. It is formulated to strengthen the skin barrier, calm post-treatment irritation, enhance hydration, reduce downtime, and improve overall treatment outcomes. A key ingredient is the Tetrapeptide-21 Amino Acid Complex, which promotes skin renewal and supports healthier, more resilient skin.

What is NCTF Boost 135 HA and what does it do for the skin?

NCTF Boost 135 HA (New Cellular Treatment Factor) is an advanced skin revitalising solution packed with 12 vitamins, 24 amino acids, 5 nucleosides, antioxidants (including Glutathione), and hyaluronic acid. It works to deeply hydrate, nourish, and rejuvenate the skin from within — improving skin quality, boosting radiance, softening fine lines, and restoring a healthy, youthful glow. It is ideal for dull, tired, or dehydrated skin and can be delivered via Microneedling, Mesotherapy, or a combination of both.

What is Mesotherapy and how is NCTF Boost 135 HA delivered?

Mesotherapy is a technique that delivers active ingredients directly into the skin using fine needles. At Edit Skin we use innovative FillMed Nanosoft needles to deliver NCTF Boost 135 HA gently and precisely into delicate areas such as under the eyes and neck creases, for a comfortable and effective rejuvenation treatment. Mesotherapy can be performed as a standalone treatment or combined with Microneedling for enhanced results.

Is it normal to have small bumps after Mesotherapy?

Yes, this is completely normal. Following Mesotherapy treatment, you may notice small raised bumps — called "blebs" — at the injection sites. These are simply the product sitting within the skin and are a positive sign that the treatment has been placed correctly. They typically settle and absorb naturally within 24–72 hours, although this can vary depending on the treatment area and your individual skin response.
